As expected, Apple’s fall showcase—warmly dubbed “Awe-Dropping”—brought a flurry of fresh hardware and software. The company unveiled its iPhone 17 lineup, packed with performance boosts, a thinner iPhone 17 Air, renewed wearables, and next-gen AirPods. Here’s what you need to know.
First up, the iPhone 17 family arrived in four models: standard iPhone 17, ultra-thin iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and Pro Max. The Pro models gain redesigned horizontal camera bars that support 8K video and improved telephoto lenses, along with new A19/A19 Pro chips and better thermal management via vapor chamber systems. The Air—at just 5.5 mm thick—offers sleek portability while the Pro Max delivers the largest battery in the series.
This Apple event didn’t stop at phones. The Apple Watch Series 11 brings health-focused upgrades with better sensors; the Ultra 3 adds satellite calling, 5G RedCap, and more power; and the Watch SE 3 gets a refreshed larger display with updated sensors.
The AirPods Pro 3 won’t be left behind—rumored to include heart-rate and temperature tracking, a slimmed-down case, improved ANC driven by the new H3 chip, and added AI tools such as real-time translation and camera control. Pre-orders reportedly began immediately after the event, highlighted by promotions such as Best Buy’s offers.
Software also had its moment. Apple unveiled iOS 26 with a Liquid Glass interface, plus updates to watchOS, visionOS, macOS Tahoe, and more—rolling out soon in support for newer devices.
